I’m considering buying a couple season tickets for the first time and have some questions of those who have had them.
I assume that they come as digital tickets (I have bought single game tickets before), but do they come all at once in a single email link or spread out over the season? If you will miss a game and transfer the tickets to a friend, has anyone ever had issues with that? Are there any bad (obstructed view) seats sold as season tickets? Recommendations on a section? Any other considerations you can think of? I, surprisingly, didn’t get much pushback from my wife, so I’m going to make the investment. Just looking for advice.
Thanks.

Digital tickets are loaded in your account at the beginning of season. You can use them there or transfer to your digital wallet.

Sales and transfers are designed to be easy but there have been some comments on this forum regarding issues. I have not had any.

Seat Geek is the U’s provider of choice. I have always used Stub Hub because they get more traffic.

For year 1 I would buy tickets with no scholarship donation required. Go to the games and sit in different sections to determine your preference. There are often “good” seats that are empty that you can test drive.

If committed after year 1 and depending on your budget go for the “better” seats by making a donation.

One consideration is that the better seats are generally populated with older fans…so the enthusiasm is not the same as if you sit near the students or with younger season ticket holders (I am a bit older and am frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm in my section).

Hope that helps.
