Does anyone know when season tickets are expected to arrive? The first game is now only 3 weeks away and I haven't heard anything about this from the ticket office since I ordered mine in April.

Also, do student season tickets get mailed out or are you expected to pick them up? In the past my family had regular season tickets which I believe were usually shipped out by this time, but I'm not sure how the student tickets work. Any insight is appreciated!

I got mine last week. Came via mail.

Granted I got mine much later last year so there ya go.

Came week and a half ago for me.

Best bet is to contact the ticket office to double check how you should be getting them.

In related news, why don't we get any token swag with these tickets?

I see other schools send out cool stuff, tickets presented in a neat way. We get a binder like thing.... and some coupons.

I wouldn't mind it if they kept our t-shirt sizes on file and gave out a shirt for the first white out/maroon out/gold out, could sneak $20 into the cost of the ticket for cost of the shirt and shipping and handling and I'd never complain.

Yeah that would be way cool.

Even cheap swag would be neat.

Student tix are usually picked up at Mariucci sometime in August. think it was about next week or so in terms of on the calendar last year.

With how many they would be ordering, I bet they could get t-shirts for under $3 or $4 a piece.

i agree, most of the 20 would be in matching shirts of the right size to the right ticket holder and going from bulk pack to individual pack and add shipping cost.

In case anyone else had the same question in regards to student tickets I just got off the phone with the ticket office and they said they likely won't be ready for pickup until the week of the first game.

I don't understand why it is so hard to have them available for pick up sooner.

Got them over a week ago. A t-shirt and/or hat would be cool and agree a good way to get people to coordinate on maroon or gold out games. Regarding maroon or gold out games, I could never understand why it seems so difficult with our fan base but not a problem at most other schools?

They used to put a coupon in the ticket pack for a free t shirt to pick up at the first game.... I liked that a lot!

I think I'm in a special category as I did receive a gift. 10 cents off every gallon of gas at Holiday. Pretty sure it's because I "donate".

Its because we have two equally prominent school colors. Probably about a 50/50 split in the stadium between maroon attire and gold attire. Lots of other schools have a more dominant color, and those are the schools that can easily do a *color*-out.

I own plenty of both colors

It really shouldn't be an issue as the student section likely isn't sold out by any means but I thought the rationale was they wanted to be able to confirm that you're registered for classes as a student.

I also could be pulling that out of my ass

The annual unfounded panic begins. LOL.

Doesn't help the guy that picks up 20 over the year...

Same here and like A_Slab_of_Bacon ours contained no swag and were not delivered by Tracy Claeys.

My guess is Tracy didn't even know they were being delivered. That is something a liaison to the AD would have informed him of.

You are correct. Need to ensure kids are enrolled. Also, the ticket office has a much more limited student employee count during the summer. Need a lot of students on the phones, and then need even more running the window the moth leading up to the football season. No sense swamping them with student pick ups. Might as well wait until all the student employees are back on campus and working.

You're right. I'm beginning to doubt the administrative efficiency of my personal liaison.
