Scheduling

Scheduling apparently is becoming a bigger & bigger mess every season. It's 18 days until the start of practice, and Northwestern still hasn't released its final schedule. Mississippi State is another one of the big boys with its schedule still on hold. There are many, many others. As little as 5-6 years ago, one could count on all schedules being released by late August or early September (ACC) at the latest.

In addition, I'm amazed there still are a couple conferences yet to release conference schedules. I'd be curious to know what the biggest holdups are.

I wonder if the conference scheduling isn't coordinated with some of the sports broadcasting networks.
