Based on the first couple games it looks like our schedule is tougher than at first imagined.

MTSU - Even without Dasher they took it to us and only lost because we held the ball for 75% of the game and won the battle of turnovers.

USD -WTF???? It just goes to show you, when you're asleep at the switch, bad things happen.

What lies ahead looks tougher than expected with few exceptions

Stock Up
tOSU
Penn St - Looks like they found a QB
Iowa - Look serious about winning
MSU - Found a running game.
Ill - Zook's new staff might save his job. Unbelieveable.
NW - Persa

Push
Wisconsin - They haven't dominated anyone yet, but there's still time.

Stock Down
N. Ill - Not sure what to expect from them.
Purdue - Not as good as advertised. Might be our best chance for a road win.
USC - Lane

Tomorrow we'll know more. Still, it looks to me like 0-2 more wins max for the good guys.

Looks like Gophs will be battling Illinois, Indiana and Purdue to avoid the basement. Certainly Illinois and Purdue are road games they have to get to have any chance at 6 wins and bowl eligibility.

tOSU - I'd call them a push. National championship front runner and playing at that level.
Penn St - Looks like they found a QB Shut out in their last game and looked hopeless on offense, albeit against a national championship front runner.
Iowa - Look serious about winning For now, a couple losses can change that focus by the end of the year.
MSU - Found a running game. Lost passing game
Ill - Zook's new staff might save his job. Unbelieveable. I thought they lost rather badly to their out of conference rival.
NW - Persa

It appears that the teams on the schedule are who we thought they were. It is the gophers that remain the unknown.

Purdue losing their best offensive weapon for the season helps the Gophers chances but really, after dropping one at home to South Dakota... I don't see any game on the schedule that looks easy (maybe perhaps N. Ill if the Gophers play like they did against MTSU). The Gophers could turn it around but last week launched red flags all over the place. It is still very early in the season and things can change but right now I don't see the Gophers being favored in a single Big 10 game.

You realize we had something to do with that, right? They didn't take it to us, we took it to them.
