per the St. Cloud Times:

"Things are good," said Weber on Tuesday from the Roughriders' training camp in Saskatoon where the team is preparing for its preseason game against the expansion Ottawa Redblacks Saturday afternoon in Regina.

"I'm still learning. It's a new game with different rules. Before I came up here, I'd never watched a full (CFL) game before or seen one live. So I had a lot of catching up to do.

"The first couple of days were an adjustment — with the extra guy and and the forward motion that's allowed on offense. But I've gotten used to it. And when you get right down to it, it's still football."

Go Gophers!!

Weber could be a fit there. Doege had a nice career at Texas Tech, but I don't recall him being much of a runner and a running QB is a bigger part of the Canadian game than it is in most NFL offenses. All depends on the system, I suppose, but I'm wishing Weber the best of luck.

Taking a hit is huge and Weber can do it. The SK starter is the best in the cfl and that helps too. He won't need to play for 2 years or so.

Sorry, but from what i saw, Weber is not consistent and accurate enough to play in the CFL.

Hi Gladeskat. I know you are no fan of OSU, but does Eddie George being a grad student at Northwestern sway you?

BTW In regards to the stadium debate, It should be mentioned that NU is an El ride from Chicago and is basically on the shore of lake Michigan.
