per Sandell:

The Gophers have found success, their confidence is building and they are beginning to garner attention. Now the question becomes how will they handle that success?

For a program that has overtly prided itself on being an underdog, Minnesota has moved into a role as the heavy favorite (the line for Saturday favors the Gophers by 14). Purdue is a scrappy team that has gained momentum in recent weeks and Illinois could be playing with nothing to lose by next weekend. But the Gophers are past the point where letdowns against sub-par teams can be written off. To be considered a legitimate threat they have to continue to take advantage of teams in the lower echelon of the Big Ten.

Go Gophers!!

Time will tell. We have a history of responding poorly in these situations. Have to win this game to start breaking that cycle.

The guys are right now talking football, the game, what Coach Kill wants and expects, and eating all they want. Awesome situation for our soon to be 3-0 Gophers.

GO GOPHERS!!!
