San Antonio Express: Brewster, Franchione remain in the mix; job could pay $350K

What could Brewster possibly tell the "Search Committee" about why he should be hired? I'll give it a try (perhaps there's more):

1) Took the UM to a Bowl Game for 2 of 4 years
2) Increased the graduation rate
3) No Major Program violations
4) Respected the UM's history
5) Recruited well in Texas
6) Worked with Mac Brown
7) Familiar with different types of offenses and coordinators :)
8) Increased season ticket sales
9) Loyal to the players
10) Coached up several players now in the NFL

-This is killing me to type this. I'm done. In fact, I now hate myself.

Brewster had nothing to do with #8. It was the new stadium.

He had nothing to with #10 either, but I wanted to get 10. If Brewster took credit for a teams record when he was a recruiting coordinator or positions coach, don't think he won't take credit for that.

The day he was fired was an excellent day for Gopher Football.

The guy Kill learned from and the guy Kill took over for. Interesting.
