We're back, and better than last week (but still not great, unfortunately).

There has been a switch in Sagarin's ratings - he now publishes the ELO_SCORE, PREDICTOR, and PURE_ELO values, and indicates that the average of the ELO_SCORE and PREDICTOR (the RATING) serves as a good predictor of future results - as such, I will be using RATING moving forward.

vs Nebraska +4
@ Indiana +8.5
vs Penn State +3
vs Wisconsin +13
@ Michigan State +15.5

Predicted Record 5-7 (1-7)

Likely toss-ups (within 6 points): vs Nebraska, vs Penn State
Likely losses (>6 point difference): @ Indiana, vs Wisconsin, @ MSU

Week eight prediction: http://www.forums.gopherhole.com/boards/showthread.php?49277-Sagarin-Predictions-Week-8

Why is the predicted record still 4-8 (0-8) instead of reflecting the 1 BT win we have already? Or is that the pre-season win prediction?

Surprised the Nebraska game is as close as it is.

Surprised the Michigan St. one is so high. I know it is on the road but Michigan St. has shown no ability to pull away from their opponents.

I agree. If MSU gets up 10, they'll probably play field position. LOL.

I think the Penn State game could be interesting. Hackenburg looks like the real deal and he's got some weapons, but I think we can play with them if we play well.

Looks like we only moved up 6 spots, from #77 to #71 and NW is still ranked way ahead of us at #59, no respect.

Nebraska is #41 so you would think they would be favored by more. Here's to moving into the lower 60's or upper 50's after we beat Nebraska.
