One more time this year with predictions for every bowl game. Games involving B1G teams are in orange.

Before getting to the detailed results, here are the biggest and smallest predicted spreads this year:

Biggest Predicted Blowouts:
Tulsa -15.5 over Central Michigan
Michigan -15 over Florida State
USF -15 over South Carolina
Temple -15 over Wake Forest
Mississippi State -14.5 over Miami (Ohio)

Closest Predicted Games:
Memphis vs. Western Kentucky PICK
Louisville -0.5 over LSU
Penn State -1 over USC
Oklahoma -1 over Auburn
Toledo -1.5 over Appalachian State

As far as conferences are concerned, if the formula holds, the B1G should be pretty happy. Teams from the B1G are favored in six matchups, including all four NY6/Playoff games plus the Outback Bowl. The SEC on the other hand is looking rough outside of Bama. The conference is predicted to go 4-8 in their 12 matchups.

Finally, the Gophers drew a tough matchup by the numbers. Washington State is a top-15 team according to Sagarin, and although the Gophers are top 40, they're looking at what I'd deem during the regular season a "likely loss." We were winless in our "likely loss" games during the regular season. Let's hope the trend reverses in December.

Enjoy "the most wonderful time of the year" - and go Gophers!

Thanks for posting. Based on past experience with this year's team, you'd expect them to give WSU a game and probably lead at some point but fall short in the end. The Gophers will not be outclassed by Washington State any more than they were outclassed by Penn State or Wisconsin on the road. Like you said, hopefully they can turn over a new leaf and pull out a win in one of these.

ayyyy very cool - gopher07 thanks for these posts throughout the season too many they are dope and give a lot of good info i appreciate you
