Dr. John Williams, a prominent Minneapolis dentist and former University of Minnesota football player who played 12 seasons in the NFL, died Sunday, July 8, while out walking. He was 64.

He was a great player for the Gophers, played for the Colts and won a Super Bowl, held a degree in Dentistry and was devoted to the North Side. Rest in Piece, a life well lived.

My memory

When we went up to get our diplomas in 69 in memorial stadium we went up in twos. I didnt know him personally but knew who he was. He was my partner when we went up to get our diplomas.
