There is obvious self-interest in Alabama providing this service, but there's no denying it's a plus for the athletes as well. Way too many kids kicked to the curb by colleges over the years after their playing days are through. While a service like this isn't a lead-pipe cinch to help all athletes, it at least provides helpful information about choices.
