Per Ryan James tweet: http://twitter.com/RyanJamesMN

"Tubby Smith has called Andre Ingram and Coach Vince Taylor has been in contact with Butler CC Coach Michael Bargen who played at Marquette."

There are several other Ingram related tweets but you can visit Ryan's Twitter for those.

I have to wonder if Tubby's press for another Andre suggests he believes Trevor is leaving or is it just that Tubby likes 6'7" pound defenders?

Ingram; seems like he would add some rebounding and 5 more fouls... Kind of like Colt

"Ingram scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to record his seventh double-double of the season, but his first in five games as foul trouble has kept him on the bench instead of on the floor. Many of his points came on second chance put backs after getting the offensive rebound.

From what I hear, that kid loves to play defense...take charges, rebound, etc. He's definitely a 4.

Problem is...by the time Trevor knows what is best for him...stay or go...we wont be able to sign a replacement...even if Trevor stays...another injury like Mo had last year would hurt us if we don't have another banger and rebounder...unless you want to depend on our walk ons.

Wouldn't this just fill the Colt scholarship?
I don't think it suggests Trevor leaving.

He's a local kid and he won't clog up a scholly for too long anyway, so I don't see a problem. And who knows, with our luck, we could have a rash of injuries next year and we could be needing someone like him.

Looks like a J'son Stamper type recruit. If so we could use that type of toughness.

I have often wondered what would happen if J'son Stamper and Nate Tubbs would have gotten in a street fight when they were both in their primes.

why not?

It seems like other than the point guard.. the toughest position to recruit is a solid power forward / bruiser type. If he can fill the bill for a couple years..not against it.

I will say that Miles Tarver is the most likely to bring a knife to the fight.

Miles is in a way different class than Tubbs and Stamper...
