Estrada? I'm hoping for Mo Ibrahim but with a second gear for when he breaks into the secondary.
The RB room is set up well for Estrada. This year, before the injuries start(!), we have three upperclassmen: D. Taylor and AJ Turner--both I believe in their final years of eligibility--plus Elon transfer TJ Thomas who should have '26 and '27. Then we drop to three red-shirt freshman: G. Washington, X. Ford and Purdue transfer J. Thomas. And we have three true freshman: Estrada, Zeke Bates and Niko Castillo. Lot of potential (and internal competition) for the RF and true F to blossom into workhorses in ᾽27 and following years. Plus, room for a mature transfer or two in '27 if good opportunities are there (and a couple of our 6 RF and F transfer out). I am hoping that, along with Estrada, fellow true F Castillo finds a place here. It has been a long time since the Gophers backfield featured a true "big back." Castillo comes in, allegedly, at 6'1", 235. Another Kobe McCrary (who played for the Gophs at 6'1", 240)? Nice arrow to have in the quiver, especially when playing against a worn down defense in the 4th Q.
