There have been a few clunkers over the nine years, but the Rutgers game last year to me takes the cake. The OC who spurned you twice the quarterback who completely ruined the prior season on the other side of the field and we came out and played with no passion got our ass kicked. Much to PJ chagrin not every game is the same and we should’ve been way up for that one and I couldn’t believe what happened. Let’s make sure it’s different this year.

No. I'm merely using national rankings. And he has earned them. Some here discount what AK has done thus far this season. Our D will have to make huge improvements otherwise it could be a long afternoon.

I hope Drake outplays him on Saturday.

The last time Keith C had two possible NFL WRs, he made a pretty good season out of it. Lot of RPO coming on Saturday I’ll bet. Tough on the LB’s. Got to rattle AK early, or this could be another frustrating game. Our OC has got to find a way to make more trips to the end zone. Love to see a little more creativity on offense, putting more mental stress on the Rutgers D. Go Gophers!

Historically the crowd for 11 AM starts is slow to warm up. Some nice exceptions over the years but I don't think playing the Scarlet Knights is going to automatically rev folks up like needed.

As Walrus would note, it is finally B1G+ play. That should be enough in itself.

AK did sling for 240 yards and 3 TDs last year while only completed around 50% of his passes against the Gophers. Can't let that happen again.
