Talked to the route driver this morning who had talked
to the loading dock supervisor that got is info from the
morning water cooler talk at the Stib that Sidney is making
the switch......Wow, several reliable sources so that is why
I'm posting this.

Actually, that would make some sense. He lives in the Afton area by Stillwater, so it would be a shorter commute for him. Plus, the Pioneer Press needs the circulation boost. Especially while competing with the Strib.
 

As a subscriber to the PP, I am looking forward to reading Sid's incoherent BS right after reading the Shooter's coherent BS. What a win-win! Thanks for the great inside info ruppert! You really had to dig for this gem.
 



He'll only be there a short time before he leaves for The Wall Street Journal.

I'm just worried he will take his proof reader with him.

Technically, this is incorrect.

The Pioneer Press 'cooled' on Sid about 60 years ago:D

The busboy at Murray's has stated that he overheard a conversation regarding this subject while clearing a nearby booth.
 



Sid has my vote for eating more Murray's Silver Butterknife Steaks than anyone else. He probably has given away more of these than anyone too!
