I'll be in Mpls the week of the Nebraska game. Will people be selling tickets outside the Barn before the game? Or am I limited to StubHub and what look to be obstructed view on Gophersports?

Haven't been to a game since I graduated in 2003 and I had student tickets then.

They will be selling. Unfortunately, we may be entering uncharted ticket price territory if things keep going well.

There are non-obstructed seats for the Nebraska game on the ticket site. Might as well just snatch those up while you can.

How do you know if they obstructed or not? My parents will be down for Iowa and I can get them 221 row 9. Would these be ok?

Those aren't obstructed, bench seats no back, second deck at end of court, there are scattered single seats that are not obstructed on the first floor for 45. You aren't going to get much together on the first floor though, behind the basket on second deck there are a ton of tickets for 25 for Nebraska game that aren't going to be obstructed. I have a feeling that scalped tickets are going to be more expensive, you will probably be able to get better tickets that way though. I would go to the U's site first to see what is available, stay away from the last 7 or 8 rows on the first floor, the one's left will probably be obstructed.

Regarding the obstructed view seats, I know a couple rows are really bad, but I was wondering if anyone knows if for example, section 106 row 26 seat 7 and 8, would be that bad, as there are rows 27 and 28 behind I guess. Probably could still not see scoreboard from row 26? The link about the seating above is good, but just calls rows 24-28 collectively "may be partially obstructed."

That loss to Mich last night was hard to take, when if not for any of a number of miscues or missed shots in the last couple of minutes, we could have won. Hang in there!

Regarding the scalpers - yes, they are there (And yes, some are pretty scummy). Might just be me but I've never have liked those guys - I've definitely had better experiences with other cities and sports teams' scalpers in general.
