Within the last 10 days the junior from Jackson has picked up offers from Miami and Auburn. I got a feeling it's gonna be tough for PJ to keep this kid home.
Like Koi ?Within the last 10 days the junior from Jackson has picked up offers from Miami and Auburn. I got a feeling it's gonna be tough for PJ to keep this kid home.
Because he lives close to Iowa or do you have inside info? He lives 1.5 hrs closer to Minneapolis than Iowa City.... (In case he's reading this). He'll end up at Iowa.
Go Gophers!!
Tanks - Beat me 2 it.Because he lives close to Iowa or do you have inside info? He lives 1.5 hrs closer to Minneapolis than Iowa City.... (In case he's reading this).
Why specifically?Within the last 10 days the junior from Jackson has picked up offers from Miami and Auburn. I got a feeling it's gonna be tough for PJ to keep this kid home.

It’s like a contest always to see who the first jabroni will be to state this. Makes me laugh every time!He gone.
Maybe Koi can convince him to stay! From what I've been told by someone I trust. Hope it's wrong and he ends up here.
Go Gophers!!
When your QBs can't throw the ball more than three (3) yards down the field, it tends to be a TE dependent offense. The coaching staff has been recruiting other 2026 tight ends more lately. Voss was also at the Iowa junior day last weekend, idk if he’s attending gophers one coming up soon
Will see there's an obvious gopher connection with the Miami offer and I'm guessing Auburn will change staffs before he sets foot on campus. I guess I would start worrying with Ole Miss, LSU Bama, Tennessee types entered the chatWithin the last 10 days the junior from Jackson has picked up offers from Miami and Auburn. I’d take any of those over IowaWill see there's an obvious gopher connection with the Miami offer and I'm guessing Auburn will change staffs before he sets foot on campus. I guess I would start worrying with Ole Miss, LSU Bama, Tennessee types entered the chat
Lol me too is Iowa crurin him to be a QB?I’d take any of those over Iowa
Kittle, Hockenson, and LaPorta agree! When your QBs can't throw the ball more than three (3) yards down the field, it tends to be a TE dependent offense.

Not saying Voss coming here, but there was a hell of a lot of this talk about Koi the entire process until he signed. Everyone was certain it was Wisconsin, then Ohio State. It's just an easy way to cover up any possible excitement and try and shield disappointment and I think it's an emotionally cowardly way to be a fan. We're in it for Voss, I'm excited and hope we get him, he seems like a real player. He gone.
Agreed but don’t hold your breath. Koi has turned down more money back to back years to come/stay here. Hope Voss is #OneOfUs but don’t get that feelingNot saying Voss coming here, but there was a hell of a lot of this talk about Koi the entire process until he signed. Don't get me wrong, I would be somewhat surprised if he came here. I just think the entire "He's gone", "He's already at Iowa" type of shit is stupid.Agreed but don’t hold your breath. We'll get him in transfer portal when he realizes PJ was the only one speaking truth to him..."Somewhere over the rainbow..."add Auburn to the list. picked up an offer today, according to his Tweet. also had a recent in-home visit from Kansas State.
the position choice is going to be interesting. listed as 6'4", 215lbs. that's pretty light for a TE. I'm sure he could add some weight/muscle, but at what point does that mean he loses a little quickness or athleticism?
I really have a hard time seeing him as a D1 TE. maybe more of an H-Back, depending on the system with some wildcat QB mixed in. a lot hinges on the measurables - don't know what he's run for a 40. he can outrun players at an AA school in MN, but D1 is a different level of competition.
The Auburn offer was noted on the first post. Great stuff as usual Cap'n Obviousadd Auburn to the list. picked up an offer today, according to his Tweet. also had a recent in-home visit from Kansas State.

In fairness, for NFL stats Fant is probably #4 in that group. But he may have been a better college TE.Interesting you don’t mention Noah Fant.
Dallas Clark as well, blast from the pastKittle, Hockenson, and LaPorta agree!
I think all four semi-final teams this year had quarterbacks that could throw the long ball to tight ends. Both Penn State and Ohio State had multiple deep passes caught by their TE. What are your thoughts on this? When your QBs can't throw the ball more than three (3) yards down the field, it tends to be a TE dependent offense.
Actually, the two situations are nothing alike. Not saying Voss coming here, but there was a hell of a lot of this talk about Koi the entire process until he signed. I think they had QBs that could throw the ball deep...unlike IA.I think all four semi-final teams this year had quarterbacks that could throw the long ball to tight ends. Both Penn State and Ohio State had multiple deep passes caught by their TE. What are your thoughts on this?
He was still a first round pick they can sell. It’s hard to deny Iowa’s ability to develop tight ends that are high draft picks and who (largely) have successful NFL careers.Interesting you don’t mention Noah Fant.
