Rodney's elevated play was the key to this team's surge in last year's postseason and this year's success so far. Right now he doesn't look like the same player we thought had emerged as a senior star, and the team likewise isn't looking the same either. Williams continues to be the key to this team. Without him playing at a high level, we're just another good but not great team with a few nice players, but not a conference title contender. Unless and until they can get him back in the groove he was in, I'm worried that this season will take a disappointing turn - certainly not as badly as the previous two seasons, but well short of our hopes for this squad.

Does anyone have any inside knowledge of Rodney's hip injury from Indiana? He really fell hard, didn't seem to the same burst last night, and they rested him frequently last night. Are there any lingering effects that we are not being told about? Just wondering...

He had a noticeable limp in the first half and apparently got dinged up Wednesday. I think it certainly was effecting him, especially in the first half.
