per the Post Bulletin:
Do you find members of the Twin Cities media to be divas?
ROVNAK: Not at all. I enjoy working with all the media who dedicate time, effort and resources into covering the Gophers and helping us tell our stories. Media have a tough job to do, and I respect that. The time when it is difficult is when outlets call you last minute for help on a story that they have known about well in advance and could have planned for a little bit better. I will also say there are times when I wish they were a bit more responsible on social media.
What are your three most taxing/time consuming duties during college football season?
ROVNAK: We always say this job is more of a lifestyle than a job and that is especially true during football season. I am in the office almost every day from August through December. But if I have to pick three it would probably be writing game notes, approving and preparing media credentials and responding to emails, calls, texts and Tweets.
