It is very obvious what our season lacks. Road wins. The only win coming against Illinois. Here are the facts on road games:

-1-7 in the Big Ten
-We are only better than Penn State and equal to Nebraska
-The top 5 teams have winning records
-The bottom 7 have losing records
-We average <57 points/game on the road, that includes scores of 84 and 81 against Illinois and Indiana. That is 11 points less than our average.

My question is,"What the hell is going on?" Rant and rhetorical questions coming...

Are our kids really that fragile mentally? Is there something going on during travel (not enough rest, planning) that is messing with their play? Why do we always play the home teams game and not our own? Is the home atmophere at these games really that bad? I was at Madison and Iowa, it wasn't that loud and I sure as hell know NW isn't loud. I know it's not the Big Ten but I played traveling ball through high school and I sure as *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# didn't care where I was playing. You just played like you always do, even if it was your 3rd game of the day. How can you not be confident against a team you just demolished less than a month ago? The only player that has been consistent all year has been Trevor. The bench players (Ingram, Eliason, Welch) have stepped up while Joe, Rodney, and both Hollins have shrunk. I'm surprised my TV is still in 1 piece after this season, but there is still 1 game to go.

On a positive, it appears we play better on a neutral court. It appears but I'm still going to be on edge this tournament season. Any other thoughts on why we can't win on the road?

The team is not that good? They can play great when they are all plaing well but just cant put it together on a normal basis?

We are good when Dre is hitting his shots... It opens up the middle for our athletic slashers who can not hit any outsude shots... let alone free throws...
