Goodness, it’s been a tough month for Hall of Fame baseball players-Seaver, Brock, Gibson, and now Whitey Ford. I hope you can access this article by Joe Posnanski, it’s quite a nice tribute to a player before my time who I fashioned as the Dean Martin to Mickey Mantle’s Sinatra in their heyday.

You are correct. I bet I posted the same thing when Don died earlier this year.

Whitey was the Yankees all-time wins leader.
