RIP Teri Garr

Top 3 films she was in off the top of my head:

Young Frankenstein
Tootsie
Mr. Mom

RIP. I rewatched Coppola's Thee Conversation last year. Had not caught that she had a small part in it the first time I watched it years before.
And of course so fantastically funny in Young Frankenstein. Hard to believe Mel is the last survivor from that film.

a couple of odd/interesting notes.

Garr appeared as a dancer in musical TV shows "Shindig" and "Hullabaloo." She had bit parts in 4 Elvis Presley movies.

the first time I remember her was on Star Trek-The Original Series. She was in a backdoor pilot called "Assignment: Earth." it was intended to launch a new series starring Robert Lansing as a secret agent from the future with Garr as his somewhat ditsy secretary. It was not picked up as a series.

I will also note that she played a dramatic role in "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" as the wife of the Richard Dreyfuss character. She takes the kids and leaves when Dreyfuss becomes obsessed with UFO's.

Another notable role I was remembered after the ones I and others listed was as the mother in The Black Stallion. Also was on a MASH episode.
