Rims at Conseco

Could the rims at Conseco Fieldhouse be anymore forgiving? Two of the ugliest made 3-pointers I have ever seen happened in the past few days (Shurna and Burke). There was another one in today's WI-Michigan St. game.

Off topic, but I think I dislike Bo Ryan more and more all the time. He's a good coach, but man is he a jerk. According to him, his team always gets screwed over by the refs. Glad to see a T given to him today.

I think Doosh Dakich was talking about that in the NW game. Said the new composite balls are so soft and tacky that lots of shots now go in that would rim out before. Not the rims.

You may be right, just seems like we've seen an abundant of them the past few days.

That Shurna shot was one of the weirdest plays I've seen in a basketball game. Maybe it also had something to do with the way he shoots the ball, but it almost seemed to defy physics. I've never seen a ball react like that when it hits the rim on a shot.
