Tubby's comment about having the right kids on the bus seems to have been right on the money. You could see a shift in the way recruited after the Royce Drama. Character became a huge part of his equation when evaluating recruits. He has recently said that coming to practice is a joy, because everyone is happy to be there and ready to work for the common good of the team. Gone are Joseph, Cobbs and Royce, replaced by the likes of the Hollins', Coleman in addition to Mbakwe and Rodney. The results have spoken for themselves, so far.

Elliot does not seem to be enjoying himself right now. Hope there are not some underlying issues.

I can't say i'm privy to knowing that there aren't additional issues, however; he's not playing particularly well as of late and not getting a lot of minutes. Undoubted he's frustrated with himself at the very least.

I love this change in the character of our roster, and I think we are seeing the dividends pay off on the court this year.
