If I were a Kentucky fan, I think the perfect reaction to his introduction would be …nothing. The opposite of love is apathy.

If Pitino was the AD or something at Kentucky this would maybe make some sense.

But a former coach, one who hasn't coached there is almost 30 years, and is currently the head coach somewhere else, instructing the current fanbase on how to react to the return of a coach who just left is really odd.

I don't even know in what context it would come up to ask Pitino to record something like this. Very strange.
