For me this was a boring article. He could have done better in my opinion.
 


regardless of how well-written the column was, it's still a valid point. The best Gopher Men's BB team in the history of the program was ineligible to play for an NCAA title because of penny-ante NCAA violations - while today's college athletes can rake in big bucks and stay eligible.
 

Sadly I don't think he could have. At this point in his career, this is really the best he's got if he's not writing about small town MN baseball.

I went to the Class B Championship game the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Other than the Gopher/Buckeye football game, it was the best sports atmosphere of any sporting event I have been to, well since 2019. Of course that's slim pickings (a few Twins games, a Saints game, 2020 State Tourney in Shakopee, and a HS football game).

The Chaska Park was jam packed to see Chanhassen win their 4th in a row, beating Miesville. I think the event as a whole had the most fans since the 50s.
