I hate to say it, but Pat was right on Brew and most of us were wrong.

Rest easy Gopher Nation, Pat found the time to weigh in on this controversial and hyper-important matter. Don't know what I would have done without getting to read his never predictable and always fresh take.

Ignore fat patti and don't bother clicking on his column link.

This is a brilliant move. The Gophers are coming off two loses and everyone is talking about them. Any publicity is better than none and they're getting more than 10 x $800K worth of it. A bunch of idiots who never pay attention to the program are talking about Gopher football. This board is lit up when normally things would be quiet after a couple of tough loses. The financial implications don't amount to a hill of beans and the reduced strength of schedule argument doesn't fly (we'll still play 11 of the 12 opponents on our schedule). I'm amused at the overreaction. Take a deep breath and remember that this like everything else will pass.

Go Gophers!

Pretty mild take by Patrick. Only one, albeit LONG, sentence on buying out the games. It's also may be the first time that Reusse admitted that even he "whispered modest praise for Brewster" when they went 7-1. His "praise" by the way was saying that maybe the salesman bit wasn't a act. Maybe that's who Brewster really was.

However, Pat finally admitting that there was a time when he thought things could get better too, now THAT is progress!

That article might have been the most positive Fat Pat has ever been about Brew.

What a shocker. Patty smells chum in the water and and decides to throw out his stink-bait.

If he was not mentioned on this board, I would not know he exists anymore. Not one single person I work with, or are friends with ever mentions his name; whether it relates to his writing, his radio, or TV (if he still does that show I've never watched with Mike Max). He is becoming less relevant every day, which is a step in the right direction.

I know that he will end up reading this post, and it will depress him that more people here are not getting up in arms over his latest throw-away article. That sad, pathetic wretch.
