A giveaway in the modern TCF era is the "homer hanky" for a given Gophers game, always gold and/or maroon with a game sponsor of some sort. These are not to be confused with the "homer towels" that fans get too when arriving at the stadium.
Anywho probably like many of you we were getting quite a pile of them, especially since it's the Billds x 2 for each time we get one. Suggested to Mrs. Billd, who is a master in the thread, sewing, and costuming arts, to come up with a use for these other than taking up drawer or closet space that could be used for other "valuable" crap er...stuff.
The project is in progress but here's where she is:
These will end up as a throw or blanket of some sort...suitable for gameday warmth or maybe banners if I ever get a dedicated Gophers man-cave (I have the Gophers Room but not quite the same yet).
Maybe you too have a pile of these looking for reincarnation? A Fine Arts Exhibit at The Fair maybe? Ski U Crafting!
