Replay of Gophers vs Iowa Monday 330 am ESPN 2

I am betting myself $5 that within 2 months my wife will write over this game with something like Real Housewives of Jersey Shore.

It's been on the BTN "Game in 60" several times. I was able to record it. I love watching the replay in 60 minutes like that.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Is it dual purpose, meaning I can plug it into my laptop and go to TV via HDMI also?

Not unless your laptop has a mini-hdmi port.....which I'm going to to guess that it does not.

The picture shows two cables going into the HDMI and one micro, and one standard USB which I would assume would be the "other" end. That would lead me to believe that you can plug it into the HDMI with either the micro or standard USB. Or am I looking at it wrong?

I'll ignore that they say it is for the Samsung Galaxy, and just a standard micro/standard USB.

It's just so you can charge the device while you have it connected to your TV via HDMI.

The eBay posting has the following steps for set up:
1).Connect the Micro USB(MHL) cable into your cell phone or tablet
2).Connect TV through the HDMI port, switch the TV to HDMI channel
3).Connect the USB cable to a power adapter(at least 5V 1A) to supply power for the HDMI connector, you had better use the original adapter
4).Restart your device after the whole connection finished

I don't read manuals (obviously).

But since when does an HDMI cable need separate power?

[ninja edit] I'd have to assume that it's to keep the device powered, not the cord, right? I'm guessing it's not USA manufactured?
