While looking to see if there's a video floating out there of Coach addressing the team after Nebraska...Bleed...I know you'll be first to find it(!)...came across this short nugget on YouTube.

I recalled it immediately. Made two years ago after Michigan. A good marker for the journey we're on.

At 57 seconds is right on for Nebraska 2013...boom, boom, boom and Nebraska was up 10...but a NEW Gopher mentality is being bred and born.

Here's the clip. Enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5WTCJOC2To

Brick by Brick. The Journey. Etc.

Enjoying the ride.

Go Gophers! Beat the Hoosiers!

I thought we had started by winning 7 National Titles and then doing nothing since.

Can we have it both ways?

"It this were a great job I wouldn't be here. They would've hired somebody else."

I always appreciated that line.

KoolAid how dare you post something like that. I couldn't even finish watching it. My chili got too dang gum hot.

In the Kill video, I love the story about his daughter coming down to him after Michigan. "Right where you want to be right dad." Coach Kill knows where he wants to be, his plan is working. It was cool to see him in the box after Saturday's game when the TV cameras showed him waving the fans to get down onto the field. From the smile on his face you could tell he saw the fruit of his labor. The kids are having fun in the stands and on the field. I have faith that soon, Gopher football will be the biggest party on Saturdays in the state of Minnesota. Thanks for posting now Bleed, go find that Nebraska post game footage! :)

The fact that there was a whole short documentary made on our coach that focused solely on his rhetoric says it all.

Brewster era: talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. I don't think I'll ever not get sick when thinking about it. Thank God for Coach Kill (I hear what you say, but I trust what you do).

AND ANOTHER THING! Brewster is the most un-Minnesotan son of a gun there is, and chili is the most un-Minnesotan dish there is. Curse you Maturi!

Ok, I'm done.

I love how Jerry can't stand still in that video.

Wow, it's easy to forget exactly how bad things were. Thanks for digging that up bleed, beat the Hoosiers.

It was an interview with ESPN. It would've been pretty boring had he just stared at the camera and not said anything.

Well that would have been a lot less embarrassing for our school.

I believe it was a BTN segment. But yeah, let's be honest, Brew was an excellent motivator, and that is a valuable trait. Guys wanted to run through walls for him. Maybe they didn't know exactly where they were running, and weren't prepared to run the right way, but they were gonna run hard lol.

Regarding Kill, watching that video most definitely reminds me about where we were when he first got here. I've always appreciated the ride to get better, even when the victories are in the form of instead of losing 58-0, you lose 38-13. Progress is what it's all about, and hopefully, we keep seeing it until we reach the ultimate goal.

Brewster worked hard, loved his players, and went out like a man without whining.

So, yeah, it could've been even worse.

Some guys are good coaches, but not all are cut out to be a head coach. I think Kill is a natural leader. As someone pointed out in another thread, Claeys is doing a great job in Kill's absence, but he's managing what's already been put in place and has been in place for decades and refined through stops at 5 different programs.

I needed a Brewster refresher: TE coach at Florida State, which could end up playing playing for a ring on Jan. 6...
