Fan experience is important to the U. If there are still things bothering you about gameday at TCF (overkill on security checks, music not loud enough, etc) don't hesitate to e-mail Joel Maturi and the Gopher Fan experience folks. They've obviously responded to concerns previously and I'm hopeful that they'll continue to do so. Just remember to be polite and direct...long winded complaints or e-mails that use words like "dbag" will find their way to the trash pretty quickly. :)

You might want to give Maturi a day or two before unloading the e-mails. His surgery is scheduled for today.

From the Strib:

Gophers athletic director Joel Maturi is scheduled to have surgery today to repair a ruptured Achilles' tendon. He will not work for two weeks and will miss each of the next two Gophers football games, the first he has missed since becoming AD in 2002.
 

That's a tough rehab gig at his age. I know as I had mine repaired after it snapped in two.

Knowing Joel, this might be the best time to email him. Dude will go crazy not being able to be up and around.

Guessing he's going to be on his computer all the time.
