I talked about this in another thread, but I thought it might deserve to be set apart.
Aside from Miami, the Gophers have some tough nonconference games remaining.
St. Joe's already beat Boston College and is never a walk in the park. They are well-coached as well.

I'll hang up and listen...

So are we meeting Cornell in the NIT or NCAA tournament?
Darn, that ticket office goofed up again and forgot the ticket to the Cornell game. Besides St Joe's, all I've got is Brown, South Dakota (rarely confused for Cornell), Northern Illinois (well, it's close to Cornell College, I guess) and Morgan State.

Seriously, I am looking forward to the St Joe's game as it's a throwback to when East Coast teams were on the tube a lot more than Midwest or West Coast teams.

While I agree that St. Joe's is probably the best game on our Home NC schedule (the only team from a mid-major conference) they're still pretty mediocre at best. The Boston College win was nice but since then they've lost by 25 to Purdue and lost to DePaul and Rider as well - I'd be surprised if the game at the barn is competitive.

Heard Siena and Minnesota will be playing next November (2010) in a one-time guarantee game. Glad to see the Saints coming to Minnesota!!!

I have no idea why I thought the Gophers played Cornell. Sorry guys.

I'd say the best game on the home slate before the Big 10 schedule starts is Morgan State. Played Louisville tough, beat Arkansas, and have a really solid player in Reggie Holmes. St. Joe's is a nice game to schedule and I hope to see them in the future, but this year is not a classic Martelli team coming to the Barn.

Does anyone think the Gophers will lose any of the final nonconference games at home?

After tomorrow night, you can wake me up when B10 play starts.
