What will the all the recruits take away from this game? Was the afternoon good or bad for the future of the program? Time will tell, but IMHO the loss today will not chase the recruits away to other schools.

The recruits learned:
1. The Gopher's can hang with USC for 3 quarters of a game.
2. The Minnesota program isn't an embarrassment.
3. There's plenty of playing time available for good football players.

Plenty of PT to go around, in a hurry.

Also, that there are nice fall days in the midwest, MN has a good stadium, and that they will have a different coach next year.

They learned the locations of the gentlemen's clubs they will attend if they come to Minnesota.

And college football Saturdays in Minnesota can be pretty spectacular - beautiful weather, beautiful stadium, nice crowd. A great college football Saturday.
