I read a tweet that said that four-star recruit Grant Schmidt of the 2015 recruiting class was there and said that Minnesota is now at the top of his list. From what I understand, the kid is a stud.

I hope the kids from ND and SD realize that if they want to play D1 football, Minnesota is their home-town team!

Grant Schmidt's coach at Sioux Falls Roosevelt is Kim Nelson, who was the Edina HC for several years and sent the Gophers Mike Rallis and Devin Crawford-Tufts (under Brewster). Hopefully the Kill staff can work that angle to fruition. He's got an impressive list of schools expressing interest and plays at a good level of football in Sioux Falls.
