I think this says way more about the thought process that goes into most tattoos than it does about Auburn or the fact kids decommit. I think the drinking age should be lowered to 19 and the tattoo age should be raised to 49.
Bizarre. People really should think it over before they get a tattoo... do you REALLY want that for the rest of your life? I can see an enthusiastic recruit getting tattooed with a school symbol, but if you're decommitting, you probably weren't all that sold in the first place. It's like getting your girlfriend's name tattooed on your arm, and then breaking up with her.

But really (and I'll admit I'm old), klds these days. I'm with RodentRampage. I don't understand, but have no problem with, kids getting inked, but sticking to the generic is probably a good idea.
