If you were to able to hire a voluntary coach who would be a scout/recruiter, who would it be?

I would try to land Alan Page.
 

Anytime you can get a 65-year-old who has never coached at any level, never played or coached for the U, and hasn't been involved with football in any capacity whatsoever for over 30 years, you have to do it.

Is current employment status a factor? If not, I would take Nick Saban.

If so, I would take Urban Meyer.
 

Nostradamus. He would only recruit guys he KNOWS will sign and qualify and be All-Americans. Or The Amazing Kreskin if Coach N is not available.
 

Lou Holtz. Assuming recruits could understand what he was saying, they would be fired up for the U!

Between serving on the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Page Education Foundation, I believe Justice Page is rather busy right now. :)
