Recap of Tubby's quick interview on 1500...this is not verbatim, but close:
Tubby on the second half...We did a better job in the second half. Florida did a good job. They were very tough inside. We got into foul trouble again. Careless fouls where we had to sit people in the first half. We needed more energy in the first half. I am grateful and very proud of these guys.
Tubby on what they did in the first half...They penetrated. Our post guy had trouble getting back, Trevor or Rodney or someone has to help on a drive. We don't seem to get back in time. In the second half we did a better job. We didn't have the proper rotation. We weren't very quick in rotating back.
Tubby on the seniors career ending...Well they all got a chance to get to the NCAA and that is very special. Rodney has done so much for this program. He represented himself well today. Wish we could have had some shots fall. Trevor gives us all he can. You can see the size difference but he's a guy that overachieves. He's done it all year. Andre Ingram same thing. he didn't start playing until senior year in high school. Julian had a tough year this year but he had some good minutes tonight.
