RB AJ Turner Commits

Nice thing about this get is we know DT is coming back so we don't need Turner to be a starter we just need him to be a strong compliment to DT.

I like the pick up! Seems like a replacement for Bangura. More of a homerun threat.

I assume we'll get another back. We lost Major, Bangura, Mangham, and Nubin.

Would like another bigger back like Major as the pair and the spare. Unless a guy like Jaydon Wright is ready for that role.

Great get to fill the snaps Major got this season. I’m glad this is the approach PJ is taking now after the past few years prior all contained RB injuries that often resulted in losses.

Led the Sunbelt in yards per carry this season at 8.3! Didn't play all that much until this season. Although he's played for 3 years, he played in only 3 games in his second year so he might have two years left.

Seems like a good pickup, we need more explosive players. I wonder if the kid from
Michigan is still in play?

That didn't take long lol

When you look at his Pro Football Focus numbers, the 6-0 and 215 lb tailback graded out as an above-average player in four seasons at Washington, earning a 69.0 or above grade in those years. He only has three career fumbles on 256 career carries. During that breakout season for him in 2022, he was incredibly proficient in short-yardage situations as 45 of his 109 rushing attempts that season resulted in a first-down, and he was their goal-line back with 13 rushing scores.

With Marcus Major and Jordan Nubin gone, there is a role for Davis immediately in 2025 as a potential third-down and short-yardage guy. Obviously, he would be able to earn more of a role as well.

This is the kind of dominant output you like to see coming from the lower levels.
