Rating top NBA prospects at LeBron camp

Others who impressed:
Trevor Mbakwe, 6-8, Senior, Minnesota
Mbakwe is not as physically imposing as Thomas Robinson but possesses the same relentless motor and a ridiculous 7-4 wing span. Watching those two battle for rebounds last week was fun.

One of my NBA friends describes Mbakwe as "undersized and underskilled" by NBA power forward standards, but there are a number of NBA players who have had solid, workman-like careers in the league with the same characteristics. If "playing hard" is a skill, as I believe it is, the attributes that enabled him to average a double-double in the Big Ten will be enough to get him a long look from NBA scouts this season.

I agree that "playing hard" is completely a skill and is what will separate Trevor from a lot of players next winter. Tyler Hansborough will get paid for quite a few years just because of his work ethic.

So no mention of Rodney in the article?

I've heard from couple friends I used to attend games with that he isn't hardly putting the ball on the floor or shooting any better at HP. Too busy with work and kids now days, anyone seen improved skills from RW this summer or same old?

Was he at the camp?

Yes panndder he was at LBJ skills academy. At LBJ they pick the top 5 players from each academy, (Amare, Durant, and Deron Williams) Trevor was top 5 at Amare camp, Rodney was apparently good enough to earn top 5 at Durant camp over some really good wing players, and the top 5 from Deron williams camp went to LBJ skills academy too (guys like jordan taylor, probably tu holloway etc...)
