Given that Fresno is higher than us, it’s time to table Sagarin until later in the season. They’re 1-2 with a win over Sacramento state, not to mention we beat them on their turf.

I'm pretty sure Sagin even makes it clear that early season Sargin results are pretty unreliable.

How is Nebraska still higher than us in Sagarin? Is it because they won by larger margins in their wins, ever though they have 2 losses?

They've also played Ohio St. Which helps their strength of schedule a lot more than any team we've played. And we're 5 weeks in, which is just about the point the computer systems start losing their pre-season bias.

We give it some credit as a tool of measurement knowing it's not perfect.
