Schedule rankings updated above with Gophers

Looking like middle of the pack among Big Ten peers.

If playing Louisville on the ship is an indicator, I would guess Rich Pit's ultimate goal would be to be one of those teams that plays in some big non-conference games every year. I think of Michigan State that way. They must play some patsies this year though. I'd like to be one of those teams that plays (and competes) in a couple national-interest games each year.

MSU is playing Duke and will probably play Kansas in the Orlando Classic title game, but by Izzo's standards Sparty's NC sked is quite a bit softer this season. Very unusual for them not to have a quality home and home on their schedule.

If the Gophers don't beat either Louisville or (hopefully) Gonzaga, I'm afraid their nonconference schedule likely will do very little for them.

Nebraska completes schedule: Iowa only Big Ten team remaining

Will add as teams release and/or complete their nonconference schedules. Rankings are based on each school's (projected) 6 best/notable non-Big Ten opponents. The average RPI of the 6 opponents is noted in parentheses.
