Recruiting:
For the first time in a long time, most of Minnesota's top recruits stayed home and will attend the U next fall. You and your staff did a very good job of closing the state. For many years, Iowa did quite well in recruiting Minnesota kids to the Hawkeye program. Do you recruit the state of Iowa - a less populated state (with a strong Midwestern work ethic) with two BCS schools and a FCS school and western Iowa can be argued is Cornhusker country - or do you put your resources in more populated states?
Changing a team's culture:
Near the end of one Vince Lombardi's famous quotes he said, " . . . winning is a habit, unfortunately, so is losing!" What are the major elements that are necessary in changing a team culture that has been losing or been mediocre at best for a long time?
Go Gophers!!
