DL65 starts this for The Sports Huddle with Kill and I have no idea if Mike Max reads GH, but worth the try.

Here's mine: What do you guys(the sports show guys) think about Souhan stating Kaler and Teague have no idea about running a football program(Souhan was at it again this am at 10:00 on espn1500). What does Souhan think should be done at the present time and why does he think the only thing to do is have Mason take over as interim and/or full-time HC?

Anyone else?

He wants him to be football czar (not sure what the means). I'm really not sure how he knows Kahler and Teague have no idea what they are doing, an epileptic coach was something they inherited from the brilliant Joel Maturi. The UNC game does remains the dumbest decision from a PR standpoint, I'm guessing that's a lot of what he's basing it on.

Questions for Mike Max? "Have you ever considered taking a vow of silence?"

I rarely watch the Sports Show anymore. There is no flow to that program, and IMHO Max does a lousy job hosting. Plus, it seems like they keep cramming more commercials into the program. I think they would be better off just keeping it to a 3 person show with Max, Sid and Reusse, and give each one a little more air time. when they have four people, it seems like they're fighting each other to make a point. (when Sid isn't rambling incoherently)

I agree with Iceland - Mike Max bothers me. He seems to be one of those guys who thinks he's funnier than he really is, and he's always got that annoying smirk on his face.

maxie mentions gh quite a bit on his radio show so he definitely reads the board.

He's never struck me as someone who's all that intelligent. 'Doofus' might describe it.

I shall totally disagree here, Bad Gopher. When Mike Max interviewed my Grandson at a fishing opener on Lake Mille Lacs a few years ago, he was no doofus. He was fun, great to visit with, and bought us breakfast.

To quote a noted philosopher from the Moorhead area:

"I'd imagine none of us knows what we are talking about."

Chuckling Hayseed would be a good description. I've said it many times - there are few people in the local media who I have less respect for. He's almost as big a homer as Sid, has never done anything other than a total softball interview, and his constant talk about town team baseball and MIAC football is about as interesting as listening to Common talk about his golf game every single day.

Agree with a lot of that but as for him and the Gophers he certainly not an f*ing homer. Thought both Mason and Brewster were going take a swing at him. Would have loved to see it. Maybe you've heard him on the radio too. Many, many times he's gone out of his way not to just criticize the Gophers, there's been PLENTY of reasons to do that. Nope, because he's went out of his way to be a dick about it.

Which part were you most impressed with.

Mike Max is a POS. I've got 3 paragraphs is stories on him, but don't want to take the time.
