After taking last Sunday morning off, I'll be transcribing next Sunday's Sports Huddle segment with coach Jerry Kill.

If you have a Gopher football-related question that you'd like Dave Mona to ask of coach Kill, please submit it in this thread. I don't know if your question will be asked during the show, but he has used several GopherHole questions in past shows.

Fall Camp

It is not that many weeks before fall camp begins. To help us fans to get in "shape" or ready for it, it would be helpful to have the following questions answered:

* How many players are you allowed to have at fall camp?
* How do you select those players?
* Are any of the sessions going to be open to the public again?
* What are your key objectives that you hope to accomplish this year at fall camp?
 

How has the transition from Joel to Norwood gone for you? Differences you have noticed?

What is your reaction to him saying "Football will be his #1 priority"?
 

Do you get daily reports from Coach Klein on the progress in the off season drills? And can you comment on the idea of voluntary practice 7 on 7 or kicking drills? Is voluntary actually a code word for if you don't show up, you might be suspended?
 

Can you comment on the Jordan Hinojosa situation? Will he be here in January?

If they did Coach Kill would say "Sid are trying to get me in trouble?" People need to realize that he CAN'T talk about recruits until they sign a letter of intent per NCAA rules. This also includes Bobek. The reason he can't talk about Jordan is because he is not longer a recruit.
 

Some people have commented on walk-on offensive lineman Jon Christenson bulking up this offseason and becoming a candidate to possibly start at center. Where do you (Coach Kill) see Christenson fitting in on the offensive line this year?

SUB question: Will Jim Gjere be ready to play in a starting role this fall or will he likely start off in a supporting role off the bench?
 

What is your take on the rumor of canceling the home/home with North Carolina?

Maybe add to that for him to elaborate on what his ideal non-Big Ten schedule would look like. As a season ticket holder I know I'd like to see at least one decent school in that part of the schedule.
 



Last week, on the Sports Huddle, you said there were six or seven Division I kickers in your high school kicking camp. You also said you'd be following and evaluating their seasons. Does having a low number of available scholarships for the 2013 recruiting class influence your decision to offer an available slot to a kicker? Is the kicking position a priority for this year's class? What are your recruiting priorities for this year's class? Offense? Defense?
