He's good to go. Should be cleared to go full speed when practice begins next month. His got a big chip on his shoulder about how last seasin ended and I expect a monster season from him.

what is the latest on hummel's injury at purdue? will he be full strength at the start of the season?

From what I'm hearing is that rehab is going great. Multiple reports have said that at times Robbie had to be told slow down on his rehab by both Dr. Donald Shelbourne, who did Robbie's ACL surgery(I guess as orthopedic knee specialist go he is the best) and Purdue's trainers. There was a rumor going around late last spring early summer that Hummel had a slight set back, but right now he has basically been cleared to do non-contact drills. Many of the same news reports said he has put on a lot of upper body muscle.
I would think he is going to be ready to go for the first game but won't see a lot of minutes until Purdue plays a team with a pulse. Will he be full strength right away, I doubt it, but I think by the time B10 season rolls around he will be right there.
In other ACL news Keith Smith(Purdue's All-B10 WR) tore his ACL and MCL last week. I'm starting to think God created ACL's just to spite my sports teams.
