Maybe the wrong time to ask this, but what would Tubby need to do next year (in year 5) to have you close to as excited about him as a coach going forward(year 6 and beyond) as you were when he was hired?

For me the following has to happen:

1. Win an NCAA tournament game
2. Finish 5th or better in the conference
3. Sign at least one recruit for 2012 who was offered by big time programs
4. Develop some type of discernible offensive identity
5. No attrition of talented players

When I write it down it reads like absolutely minimum standards for a guy like Tubby Smith in his 5th year, yet I have serious questions about whether he can achieve this.

Gophers could be the same or worse than this year. sorry folks.

In 5th year:

1. Win 25 games.
2. Contend for B10 and/or B10T.
3. Finish in Top 3-4 of B10.
4. W 1+ NCAA games.

Both were possible in 3rd year. 21-14 Gophers left 4 or 5 W on the table.
