Question about college football camps for prep athletes...........

I have always wondered if the cost is all covered by the University itself or do the high school athletes players pay their own way if "not invited". Also, there seems to be much expense for players going out of state to Stanford, UCLA, etc. and it appears that prep athletes can attend as many as they want to(?) This question would also include the many camps nationwide that basketball players attend as well. Thanks in advance! Go Gophers!
