Q Gardner named one of the 5 "Super Sleepers", per Rivals

How can a recruit be named a sleeper by Rivals? If they someone is going to be a player shouldn't it be reflected in their rankings?

Hedging their bets? Appealing to a fantasy football bit of terminology?

Agreed, it doesn't make any sense. If they believe a player has a lot of potential and should perform well in college, then his rating should reflect that.

Anyone else find it interesting that our new fearless leader, Mr. Jerry Kill, and his staff recognized 3 of those 5 players as being worthy of a scholarship? Whether it was at NIU or Minnesota, 60% of that list was offered by a Kill coached ball club. (I'm making the assumption that the Northern Illinois offers were handed out before he came here)

Maybe there is something to the rumor that Kill has a great eye for diamonds in the rough...

Referencing the coach...

GopherNation5, I have it from a well-placed source that our HC prefers to be called "Coach Kill."

Referencing the Coach as "Mr. Jerry Kill" just does not fit.

I thought "Coach K" would work...but apparently it too does not fit.

Go Gophers! Get Conditioned!

We can call him Coach King of Diamonds or Coach KOD.

Sure is I live pretty close to it. Never been there though

Because the author of that article, Barry Every, may not necessarily agree with the rankings set by his colleagues or he thinks they have a good chance to overcome the weaknesses that impacted their rankings.
