Purdue's awful woes

The 2013 Boilermakers might be worse than the 2007 Gophers, who are probably the worst B1G team in recent memory (sorry guys).

Through 8 games...
2007 Minnesota: 1-7 (0-4), average points for 29.8, average points against 37.5
2013 Purdue: 1-7 (0-4), average points for 11.5, average points against 37.1

Good gosh. That is absolutely amazing AND sad at the same time. Wow.

I wear one pin on the UofM hat that I wear to every game... It is the "Gopher Nation" pin that was handed out as a promotion for the 2007 season. I figure it is an eternal reminder that no matter how bad I feel about a loss, it could always be worse.

I recommend Purdue fans find a sticker, pin, etc. for 2013 and get it placed on ther gameday hats immediately.

I don't think those two teams are in the same galaxy. The 2007 Gophers found some very interesting ways to lose to some very mediocre teams, but this Purdue team has been absolutely miserable outside of a good game against Notre Dame and a stout defensive effort against MSU. Their only win was a six-point victory over an Indiana State team that is 1-8 and in last place in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Curious to see what happens at Purdue. I never thought Danny Hope was that bad a coach and I was a bit surprised when they fired him.
