Unfortunately, he's mentally retarded. An actual "retard" and, from your quote, apparently only fit to be disparaged and ridiculed.
In all honesty, I just don't get it. I don't understand what it is that causes posters to make comments like this -- and to discount the value of those who are mentally retarded.
I don't hide behind a moniker and am fully responsible for what I write. Just click on my name on this post and you can send me an e-mail if you want to have this dialogue in private ... but I'm not willing to have statements like this made without taking issue.
As a lot of folks on this board know, I have a son with Down Syndrome. Alec -- my son -- has more class and character than exhibited in the above quote.

Amen, Rick...I volunteer part-time for an organization that works with the "mentally challenged" and I'll take their heart and determination any day over some of these idiots on here that are somehow "internet tough guys". Pretty sad IMHO that we haven't evolved enough to appreciate the fact that most of us were spared the extra challenge in life and have the utmost respect for those that show the courage to overcome it.
